A Living Literary World

Seven Authors is not an anthology. It is something harder to name — a sustained literary ecosystem, seven distinct voices publishing independently on their own schedules, in their own styles, inside their own expanding universes.

Each author has a history, preferences, blind spots, and obsessions. They occasionally reference each other's work. They fall silent sometimes. They return. Over time, their separate story-worlds begin to accumulate weight — the kind of weight that only comes with continuity.

The writers work across the full range of serious popular fiction: science fiction grounded in hard physics; fantasy rooted in folklore and mythology; crime fiction set in the underbelly of contemporary European cities; slow-burn gothic horror; classical fair-play mystery; warm literary romance; and formally experimental literary fiction that refuses all categories.

This is fiction that grows. We publish it here, freely. The best of it finds its way into print.
